What does an O2 eliminator?
I'm still searching infos about O2 eliminators application.
I've discovered that O2 eliminators supplied with TFI and similar modules have inside a 1Mohm resistors.
On Nightrider.com website they talk about 330ohm resistors.
So when I've decided to apply the 1Mohm resistors and the ECU doesn't give any error. The engine light is off, so I think this is the right value.
Now I want to understand what the ECU does when an 1Mohm resistor is applied to the O2 plugs.
Does the ECU set conservative 12:1 fuel ratio?
Or does it ignore the O2 sensor feedback because it's fixed with the 1Mohm resistor, and revert on open loop mode using other map's values and sensors like air pressure, temperature and so on?
I want to resolve my issues with the SERF and this damned O2 sensors.

When you use O2 eliminators the ECM goes into open loop and relies on the map in the system to for it's settings. I believe if you have not changed the stock map in the ECM or added a unit like the PC3 the open loop set point is about 14.2 or higher, but this is dependent on the info the ECM gets from all the other sensors.

Thank you very much.
