Single fire, dual coil. Ignition switch ( key start, only ) has Battery, Acc and Start posts.
Does the wire from the coil go to start or acc with lights, etc.?

What kind of cycle ignition switch has a start terminal?

 

It is an after market ignition, actually a marine type, plastic, waterproof. Has five posts on it, but only three are hot...B, A, S, I assume B is battery, A is acc and S is ignition .

 

ANYBODY??? I've been looking into doing this on mine to get the buttons off the bars.

 

Ever figure this out? I'm doing the same. Ditching handlebar switches . . . starting with a drag specialties, marine type ignition/starter key. Three poles. I figure to run a jumper wire to close the run/stop circuit (to keep t "always on". But how to bypass the start button to the new 3 position switch?
