Need a little help here. I bought the black flush mount fuel gauge. HD had a part number from whenever to '06 and then a different P/N from '08 and up. I didn't think there was any difference between the '07 and '08 tanks so I went ahead and got the '08 gauge. Well, needless to say it isn't working right. I had the skull gauges installed previously and there was an extra gray wire. Is this maybe the solution?

Any help would be appreciated.
