Default PC III question

I just put my PC III from Fuel Moto on my bike, do I need to do that closed TP adjustment or can I just let it go? How do you know if you need to do any adjustments to the TP?

I gave my laptop to my daughter so I don't have an easy way to check it right now. It started to rain when I got the PC on and it seems to run great just taking down the road a bit in the rain.

Will just say was happier with my PCIII after was Dyno proven.. But if running good with quick throtle response, no deadspots, and/or decel popping should be good to go....

Just my 2cents, but it doesn't hurt to check(using the Power Commander Control Center) to see if the PC is showing "0" throttle once the bikes warmed up. If it isn't, you can set JUST the idle to "0" using the Power Commander tools section. The directions tell you how to set just the "0" , without reseting the 100% portion.

I ran my PCIII for about 6 months before I set the throttle position. When I set it it was close, no notable difference. Also, 2 little black caps come in the box- be sure to use these caps to cap the interface connectors or they will be exposed to water and dirt......

You should check it. only takes a few minutes. The reason to check is simple. If its off in a positive direction you run to rich and get bad MPG. If your off the other way you run lean and hot.

I'll 2nd Vtwins responce, PCIII has to know what zero % throttle and 100% throttle are, if not, your whole MAP will be off.

Thanks for the comments. I'll see if I can get my kid to come visit so I can use my laptop.
