Going to have to change my gas tank and I was thinking about putting l.e.d. gas gauge in. I have heard some not good stuff on the HD led and started looking at others. Found one the Kuryakin makes with gas and battery indicator. Anyone know any pros or cons or have a good product they could recommend?

 

i had both. neither one are even remotely accurate. the kuryakyn one is worse than the HD one in the respect that I paid more attention to it than i did with my mileage one day and ran out of gas with the LED guage showing I still had over a 1/4 tank left. do yourself a favor, stick with the stock guage....

 

Kuryakyn is a good outfit with very few problems. It is very accurate as you calibrate it to your specs. It it's not you fugged up the procedure. Plus you get a voltage led for charging system check at the same time. Very few people have long life out of the HD unit.
