Default Can you use an ied with a race fueler?

Because of the closed loop and open loop is it possible to use a race fueler for the open loop and an ied for the closed loop. I went a got a dyno run for a stage 1 down load and it was running lean 14.6 to 14. This is in closed loop. So I got a race fueler and one more dyno run in now is running around 13. to 12.5 not bad I can adjust it a little to get it perfect. I also ask the tuner to hold the idle at 3000 for a few seconds it read 14.7 to 15 and at ideal it was up to 18. To high! I was thinking could you use a ied injunction with a race fueler?

The race fueler, depending upon which one you have, should be able to lower the AFR, no need for the IED.

I would not use either on my bike...

Just like a Stage 1 flash, money down the toilet that could have been used towards properly tuning it.

ummmmmmm, most dyno runs are done at wide open throttle in 4th gear. on any HD with O2 sensors, this is open loop (above 50% throttle) closed loop, where the o2 sensors affect AFR, that is idle and minimal throttle/ crusing........

best thing you can do is buy a super tuner or a powercommander and have the bike properly tuned on a dyno.

Personally I would buy a sert I had one before and it was the best, the problem was when I was downloading a change to the ecm my laptop died on me which fried the Harley ecm. Got a new ecm but did not want to spend the money on a new sert. The sert is the best because it was designed for the Harley ECM. The power commander you have to remove the 02 sensors which are a major advancement for Harley. Yes the engine runs hotter but then you get better mpgs and besides the new Harley engines is made to run hot.

If you liked the SERT, which I have and used extensively, you would love the TTS Mastertuner.
