A DFO is an easy and less expensive alternative.

I was talking to my local HD Dealer today about getting the SE Slip ons. He started rolling off all this stuff I had to add to that. Then he told me that I was required to get the $459 Racing Tuner if I got the slip ons.
Everything totaled about 1500 bucks.
Is he just trying to get one over on me because I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, or does this sound correct?
I paid $1,100.00 out the door the day I bought my bike for the SERT, the Stage 1 SE A/C and Screamin' Eagle Pro Performance Slash Downs out of the Screamin' Eagle Racing Catalog and that included the installation. That was after a 10% discount for purchasing the items the day I purchased the bike and having them installed before I took delivery. I think $1,500.00 is way to much.

Another thing, he mentioned that customers had been having problems with the Power Commander getting wet and ruined when they washed their bikes. Any of you heard such a thing??
