I am going from SE pro II slip ons to Rinehart 2 into 1's on my 2006 FLHXi. I have a SERT, SE Air kit and a map was downloaded by the dealer when they did the instillation. Is there a map on my SERT cd that’s even close to it? Can I run the bike with the MAP that’s on it now? Shovelhead Bob, anyone, can you help me out... I really want to do this myself and I am mechanically inclined and am a computer programmer by trade. Thanks In Advance!!!

 

Look for a Touring or Softail (No Jeers) MAP not to exceed 1550 with a pro pipe....

If I remember correctly (Cut me a break, I am at school this week), there is a 113 HO Race for a Softail that is configured for a 2:1...

Do the compare with your current config MAP...

It might be pretty close.....

 

Thanks Bob I get the pipes next week. I will PM you if I have any issues. By the way I did order the upgraded "G" software for my SERT and it's comming in with the pipe. I will check it once I get it. Only one I can find for an 06 on the CD I have now is listed below...

Better to detune than be too lean....

One last thing Bob. If I plug in the SERT without loading a MAP 1st will it download what I have on my bike? What I am asking is; Can I even see the actual map thats loaded on my bike?

I got the exhaust on and she runs great even with out the download. I took her for a short spin and WOW. I have a dyno appointment on the 25th and I was wondering if its ok to keep riding until then? Like I said she runs great. No backfiring, bogging or flat spots? Could she still be running lean enough to damage something or would I notice it? Once again THANKS FOR ALL your help!!!
