I have a 2003 road king police (FLHPI), which I'm told has a "pursuit" cam.Right now my bike is bone stock with that possible exception. I have purchased, but not yet installed V&H true dual header pipes, V&H classic slashcuts w/o the end caps,SE stage I kit and in desperate search of a SERT. Now for my questions, does anyone have much experince with the police models and if so do you know if they have a different cam? Is the combo of parts I'm getting ready to put on going to make the diffrence my NEW technician says it will(i.e. more HP & TQ plus great sound.)?Do the end caps for the V&H slip-ons serve any purpose other than cosmetic, because I dont really like the way they look? And last but ceartainly not least, where in gods name can I find a SERT???

 

What is a "Pursuit" cam.....

Can't find it in the Cam Matrix.....

FLHTPI is a FLHRI without the additional wiring, Puck Bags, and Safety Start....

True Duals are great for sound, but what are you looking for????

That is what you need to ask first.....

If you want the best performance, you go 2:1...

But you already have the Duals.....

Tuner will have to know what you are desiring, when the SERT is dialed in.....

SERT can be bopught from any HD Dealer....

 

I'm looking for performance, but I also want it to look nice and sound good. I've been lookin all over IN and its neighboring states trying to find a SERT and have been told they are on a national back order with varying release dates. any info on the end caps?
