OK been reading all I can regarding the FOB/ TSSM system. Here is my situation. I bought a used 2008 Ultra with security system. The guy provided 1 FOB, well I don't think it was the right one. I asked him and he said it was the only one he had. He bought the bike as a theft recovery. So now I need to either remove the TSSM or figure out how to marry/programm, or just plain check to see if it works. Can some of you who are knowledgable in this give me some pointers or a direction to go?
Thanks

Somewhere around here the a HD dealer has to get involved. They have th means to work with these things I think.
I would suggest if you do go there to take all the owner paperwork you have. So they trust you to be the correct owner.
Years ago HD put the only Serial Number on the bike engine on the, I believe, left engine case. You could not buy, from them, a left engine case for any reason.
Reason was terrible amount of stolen bikes.
Back in the day when a chopper really was a chopper.

I'm having problems with my 2011. I follow the procedure exactly, down to the starting the bike and waiting for it to stall. Then I wait the 10 seconds for the security light to come on... no luck ![Frown](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Also, on the 2011 FatBoy Lo you have to pull the rear tire to get to the TSM
