Default Power Comander 3 USB

I have just installed PC3 and new Rhinehardt 2 into 1 exhaust. I am not sure about this have looked around some threads here but found nothing. Do you not even put the O-2 sensors in when using the PC3? I dont want to mess any thing up. But the instructions say to use the O-2 elimenators. Which I have put them on. So do you even put them in the pipe? Ore use the plugs? Thanks for any help.

I agree. Use the plugs (with anti-seize) and put the o2 sensors someplace safe, in case you ever change tuners or go back to stock.

Once you disconnect the O2 sensor you connect the O2-sensor eliminators into the bike-side connector (i.e. not the one connected to the O2 sensor). If by "plugs" you mean metal plugs to replace the O2 sensors you can use these or just leave the O2 sensors in place.

The sensors can be tricky to remove from the pipe. Warm the bike up and spray some penetrant on around the threads. After a short wait start removing the sensor slowly and if it shows much resistance screw it back in slightly, apply more penetrant, and keep doing this 'til it is removed. Don't force it as it may damage the threads in the sensor and/or the pipe. They can often come out easily but sometimes not.

And as was mentioned, worth repeating, use anti-sieze compound on the plugs.

Any downside to leaving the (disconnected) O2 sensors in the pipe?
