Linking to T/Max with "VISTA FROM HELL!!"
After 3 weeks of pure Hell trying to get my laptop to link up with my T/max I finally got it to work . The problem , Vista from HELL! Tried everything , drove the tech guys at Zippers crazy , replaced the cables at a paltry $80.00 , that was a waste . Finally drug the old home PC loaded with XP out into the garage , desperation move , plugged it in and guess what , it worked . Damn thing linked up automatically , its a miracle!!! Anyway I spoke to few other folks and they had the same problem with VISTA from HELL!! Wish I would have known . Thanks for letting me vent...

Man... I wished I was reading this thread before last night. got a new computer with "Vista" road the bike 70 degree day the bike got really hot. so I thought I would do some tuning. Yeah right, as mentioned THE VISTA demon was hard at work on me. It's a good thing I am like a pack rat and saved the old laptop with the program already loaded. Now that's my tuning "puter".

Myself I use a clapped out old Dell with serial bus. Use my desktop to play with the software or practice edits . Some issues with Vista can be resolved by deleting your administrator account. Funny thing is, I just had to have Vista a couple of years back. Added seperate drive for it, and xp pro on the other drive. Never use Vista for anything. So much for the latest and greatest.
