Can someone tell me what canned map will work best for my bike? I have tried 2 different maps from the guys at fuel moto and haven't gotten it right. Any ideas would be appreciated. 2006 RKC with V&H dresser duals and basic slip ons. K&N RK 3909 air cleaner and stock computer.

 

NOOO PLEASE!! lol everey bike is different. you could have 2 RKC's with identical mods and require 2 different maps!! climate, humidity, sea elevation are all factors in "the right map" please dont use any body elses map because you could actually lose power! its alittle pricy about 275-300 bucks but go to the local dyno equipt shop and have then make you a custom map. they will pull out every ounce of power and torque your bike produces and optimize your air/fuel ratio. plus you will have the peace of mind of knowing that your bike is perfect as oposed to wondering if a custom map will help u perform better!!---it will... hey if u want you can share ur custom map with anyone who doesnt want to pay the extra $$$ but you already paid for the pclll so you midas well do it right!.....

 

I think you are 100% right about the issues with canned maps or "others maps". I just need a little help til I can get to a dyno. Kinda hoping somebody has tried a canned map that they have had good luck with...

 

u can absolutly use another map in the meantime but its trial and error. a map from a different might work better for u then a RKC 1!

 

JI need map for 95" bb, V&H slash cuts, stick cam, se HiFlow. I have a Poeer Commander on it butit;s stalling leaving the line at anythrottle and running a little weak from 3500 - 4000. I have seom cells with 0 thai might need to be tweaked plus I have negative numbers in the haul *** 80 - 100 part of the throttle. Tryin to show you my map

Thanks Jamie! I will give you guys a buzz. I love the PC III and I did get it from you. The original map was ok down low but fell off in the higher rpm range. You guys sent me another map but it was not helping. I loaded a canned map and rode with that all last year. I do appreciate the help. I didn't want to become a bother to you guys.
