power commander III USB
Well,
I did it. I finally bought a power commander for my bike. I made sure that the unit I'm getting has the start fuel enricher and the rev extend on it. I hope to have it installed by the weekend and tuned and ready to go. I will keep you all posted on how it works. Any input on what percentage to set the start fuel at to help out with the slow start issues others have reported on this forum.

Can't help you on the Start Fuel setting but PLEASE let us all know if that option solves the start problem. Maybe you should first see if you have the problem before using the Start Fuel option. I have an 06 Deluxe and have been reluctant to buy a PC IIIusb.
Thanks!!!

I have a pcIII on my 06 Ultra. Really helps my bike and I will have it dyno'd shortly. Runs to lean without it. I get around the slow start by turning on the ignition and hitting the start button right away. I do not wait for the ready light. It starts right up everytime. I no longer consider it a problem.
Remember the canned maps only get you part of the way there. They run great but usually use to much gas. Got to get it tuned. Good luck. DO NOT GET THE HD DOWNLOAD.

Hey hammer
I just wanted to let you know I live in the DFW area and there is a tuner that is supposed to be really good in North Richland Hills area. I think I am going to use him. He does about 15 dynos a week on just Harleys. Lot's of experience and I think he guarantees his work for a year. The place is called Piper Performance and the number is 817-656-7400.
