Default Security Lamp

Im having a problem with 2001 Fatboy. I blew a fuse to the headlight, now my security light flashes all the time. When the security is set or not. If the bike is not started ever day it will run the battery dead. I have checked the electoral and it is charging when the bike is running. Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks for any help.

sounds like you have a short somewhere. The security system shouldn'd drain the battery that quickly. I've left mine on over 30 days without draining the battery. Blown fuze to the headlight might be the clue. Trace the wires to the headlight and look for a short.

rh8234 is right. That little security light will not drain your battery overnight. When a fuse blows, it is a symptom that something is wrong.
