I know and seen some crazy stage1 Dyno numbers from dealers and private shops. I would like to see some stock 96 inch engine HP numbers vs Stage1 HP numbers from other shops and tuners. I know Im beating a dead horse. I just keep getting customers with out of this world HP expectations for pipes and AC over stock HP numbers. I know this thread wont go far and it shouldn't. From a tuners stand point where in the HELL do these people get these numbers. Once again I know this has been posted on here before BUT. I can't help but ask this question again. Tuners and shops out there. Do you guys run into this problem too? Just realized I should have put this thread on another topic

 

Why not use HD's chart from their web site? They show what looks like about 73 hp which seems a bit low. I think you could actually get up in the high 70's, but I doubt 80 is reachable without race fuel or other modifications.

 

Just based on everything I've ever read, 10-15% more HP & TQ should be attainable with Stage 1 AC/pipe/& EFI mods. Anyone claiming more than that with a standard stage 1 upgrade is probably lying, or they were victim of an uncalibrated dyno.
