Do tuners use a tailpipe sniffer or pull the facrtory O2 sensors and replace with WB units while on a dyno for the tuning of the front and rear cylinders separately?

 

I would assume that all use a sniffer instead of pulling out the factory o2 sensors. Later, Calvin.

 

Not true at all, I pull the factory O2 sensors when I can. Sometimes aftermarket pipes make it impossible then in go the tubes.

I calibrate my O2 sensors before every bike. Once they will no calibrate I throw them away. I typically get 60-90 days out of a sensor. Keeping all parts of the system working well makes the tuning process go much easier.
