you guys know if i unplug all the dash connectors on the fuel tank (except the three wire ignition switch of course) will the bike run.Its a 02 softail standard,carbureted .reason i ask is cause i want to change the tank and dont want any of the dash components,but still want to keep my turn signals,will they operate correctly also?With a new tank i wont have speedo either but dont care.

 

Just a thought, but why not unplug it and see what happens?

 

i am going to,but the bike is in pieces right now,just wanted to know if someone knew so i can plan my next step.
