Hello all,

I bought the Harley turn signal mirrors for my 2006 Dyna Superglide with the intent of removing the stock turn signals. Now that i'm getting into it I see these are intended as an addition rather than a replacement.

Does anyone know how I can wire these mirrors up to do both turn and running lights rather than just the turn signal so that I can remove the stock turn signals?

Any help much appreciated.

 

if you've got 3 wires coming off of each mirror then it should be a breeze. if only two, then you probably wont' be able to do it. what is the part #

 

Not sure of the part number right now as i'm loafin on the interwebs while at work and the mirrors are at home.

I believe they only have one wire and use the stem as a ground though.

 

I put these on a Rocker and removed the stockers. Work like a champ. Running and turn lights

 

Glad to hear someone got it to work! I'll go ahead and do the install this weekend, hopefully the directions are lying about not being able to use them as replacements!

 

I got them installed and they don't flash properly without the stockers. They flash fine the first few flashes but then speed up a lot.

I'm assuming I need a load equalizer to make them work correctly, anyone know which to get, and do they have them at the dealership?
