Default "HQ Pro Tuner" Help Please

I'm close to ordering the HQ 103 kit for my 08 RG. I'm uncertain of the benefits of paying the $465 for the pro tuner. I already have a SERT and this is the last engine mode I plan to do. My understanding is that if I get the Pro Tuner I will NOT need a dyno; HQ will send a base map and then the Pro Tuner correctly tunes the motor as you ride. Am I correct?

What are other benefits of the Pro Tuner?

Are there any down sides to installing it?

Thanks guys.

the way I understand it is the sert is used mainly for ignition timing and base fuel map and the pro tuner takes care of fine tuning the fuel curve and adjusts itself on the fly... if you change pipes for example, the pro tuner takes care of it... post over on the hq site and ask doug or kevin. if I had a fi bike, I would have one for sure.
