ignition race tuner for carbed bikes
OK, just got my SE ignition race tuner for carbed bikes, from ebay. It was supposed to be unopened, but the CD package had been opened. I can get it to read my VIN, and my current calibration, but it won't let me update the calibration. No matter which file I pick, it gives me a "cannot upload this file" message. I fear this unit was already hooked to a bike, and is married to that bike, and is useless to me. Am I right? Come on Springer..... :-)

Yup, no interface container, and the CD cardboard case had been opened. I guess for $56.00 it was too good to be true. I contacted the place I got it from. We'll see what happenes. I wish I knew more about this stuff, so I could re-flash the unit, and start from scratch. I assume the interface unit has an e-prom in it, that remembers the original vin number it was used on. If I get stuck with it, I might just crack it open, and see what gives. Maybe the e-prom is replaceable? Hummmm
