I have a problem with engine dying at various speeds cold and hot. I did a diagnostic trouble code and it came up P0261. I have carried it to a couple of indies and they said I need a computer to tell where the problem is coming from instead of just stabing in the dark and replacing parts. I can't leave the bike at the dealer because I have nobody to drive me back home in the boonbocks and come pick me back up. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any help would be appreciated. I have done a search and can't find a posting on this. The P0261 is a front injector open/low on the listing of codes. Maybe I should just replace the injector and cross my fingers? Thanks Cliff

 

I got the bike to the dealership today and this if what they found.
The proper download was not installed in the bike at the time of the injector recall. It still had the download for the 8' degree injectors that is 32903-06B... The bike should've had the 34310-06A download done at the time of recall. Which it now has installed for the 25' degree injectors.
I had the origional work done or not done at Texoma HD. I have had other problems at this dealership in Sherman Texas. Just a word to the wise. I had the correct download done at Dallas HD who were fair and let me wait while the work was done.
