Steve,
I recently spoke with your colleague (Chris I believe) there at TTS; he was very helpful. I'm rebuilding the motor of my 2003 softail deuce and have been waiting for the 4-pin TTS units to come available (along with pipes from D&D). I understand they stared shipping recently. The thought crossed my mind after the conversation to replace / upgrade the ECM on my bike since it is 20+ years old. What suggestions could you offer to get the best tune possible (perhaps closed loop) /O2) for this bike? Ron at RC will be doing the build; Bob the tune.
Thanks,
Doug

Thanks for the response Steve,
Understood. Considering I plan on keeping the bike, I wonder what my options are. Though moving to an updated closed loop system may not be a realistic option, I'd at least like to get a newer ECM and if necessary have it flashed at Harley and then have a TTS loaded and have the bike dyno tuned. Though non necessarily optimal, it's worked on this bike for me very well for the past 15+ years. With respect to pursuing said ECM, do you know of anyone or a savvy Harley dealership that my be able to steer me in the right direction? Ron at RC is probably a good start I would think.

You can use that same green VCI, external widebands & on board narrowbands to gather data with DataMaster, and use VTune to sift through that data to modify the ECM mapping. You'll need a new 6 pin Bluetooth VCI to flash the ECM.
The Analog channel setup in DataMaster provides a list of compatable wide band controllers.

There is no switching the VE tables, unless it was in the ECM to begin with. Some years are Map only, some are TPS only and the odd ball one was the 2014 - 2016 TC that would allow you to select which one you wanted to use.
