By the way, here is a pic of the very first time the bike was fired up with O2's. Of course, I have removed them and replaced with new ones. A couple of times.

Hardtail, Yes, that last one was the first time start-up to see everything worked. The other were crops of the beginning of a run.

Before deciding if a sensor is acting correctly or not. I like to see at least a good 200f on the engine temp and sometime spent idling. These sensors are dependent on EGT to reach operating temp. Watching a Vtune histogram can show that the ECM is ignoring this sensor input until things are up to temp and even on a hot restart they are ignored for a bit also.

 

I agree. If I hold my hand in front of the exhaust opening, I can tell the rear exhaust air is cooler longer than the front.
