Hello all, I have tuned my 12 road king with tts and run it about a year on the mt8. Now that vtune3 is out I want to get everything it has to offer into my bike. All I have done is a stage 1. Power duals slip ons and AC. Would it be best for me to start over with a fresh mt9 and work back up?? I don't mind if it is the suggested method. Thanks for any input.
It won't hurt to start fresh. I copied my ve tables and erg tables to the new mt9 file, set the parameters for vtuning, and ran all of my previous tunes through the vt3 software, accepting all of the changes. That being said I have had it out twice now doing short vtune runs, with only minor changes, so this approach seemed to work for me. I think it is a good way to start, others may have a different opinion, but that's what makes this a great forum. The closer you are before you start, the less work on the road.
Hi guys;
I been working with my calibration and something is going wrong with my knock retard system, it is not working even when it is enabled in the tunning constants.
Some advice please.

Can you give more details? Why do you say something is wrong?
Mr wizard sorry to ask, but would 'dab009-01-a0' be a good match for a '12 103, power duals, fh slipons, and AC? It looks closest to me...I don't know why this stuff makes me feel like I'm back in kindergarten...it's like I know the answer but can't settle..

Being a tuning virgin or an old salt it seems like jumping into a EFI project is like being taken to your first haircut or your first day at school. Remember that far back or seeing the horror in the eyes of your son or daughter?
The contemplation of war is greater than fighting the battle, right?
Once you get into tuning you will soon see there is really nothing to getting that 90 or 95% tune done. It just takes time and a little effort. Do your best not to over think what is going on or what the next step should be. Follow the 4.8.8 flow chart.
Either the DAB009 or the DAA009 will work..
For those of you that don't see the DAB009 on your calibration list... type it in your search box on your computer and it should be there. It's a MT9 calibration that doesn't seem to be in the March 2015 Cal List PDF.
