Dumb question but I have to ask.. What kind of mileage difference is there between 640 and 780?.. I set mine at 720 trying to find something in the happy medium range and was kind of surprised to see my mileage at around 35mpg on the 1st tank..

You should be in the low 40's high 30's as long as your not playing with that 211 cam....if your getting it on or your in town [bar to bar] your mileage will be down....go out and cruise a tank away and check it again.

I did my homework last week and exchange my stock cams for Andrews 26H as Doc suggested ....
What a huge difference ! Now, I really can feel my motor breathe and this is Xtra !
Should have done it a long time ago...

I did also a couple of Vtune sessions and was impress with the difference I saw on the graphs between my old VE tables and the new ones... Vtuning is obviously a must !
Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to test ride the new maps ....next time ...

Many thanks to Doc, good advice, as always !

Always good to help you out Jacques.....you are very welcome. It sure woke that 96'' up didn't it.
Soon I hope to have Steve put a base map in the tuning files for the 26 cam, pipes, and airfilter

That would be good news! ... having a base map for this cam. No V-Tune for this 2004 bike. Making good progress at last. I installed O2 sensors on an '04 model RK Classic 95", Andrews 26N, SO's/true duals, AC. On tune number 85 now, that's 85 instances of loading a new map to the ECU. Reading the O2 with an oscilloscope strapped to the tank and TPS %/marked tape on the throttle handle. Getting pretty close overall and starting to run real sweet in the lower ranges. Dreaming now... -If Datamaster could read the O2 sensors through a side door on the less than 2006 bike so to help synch the readings. Thinking she'll need a new set of brakes and perhaps a rear tire by the time I get it all close... but, it's warming up, I'm on the bike, it runs!
