att.mr wizard and wurktruk what tunner do the two of you use and why is it the best, going to leave the bike alone this year or maybe play with one more addon but after that will stay with stage1 and try tunning on a dyno if you were doing the tune what would be the preferd tunner

If your bike is a 2010 to date then you have Lambda instead of AFR. Lambda bikes don't use bias tables.
If you have a AFR bike then I normally settle around 680 as a preference. This says to the ECM that you are looking for the AFR of 14.64. The lower the voltage the higher the AFR desired. You can get this info in the Tools menu within MasterTune software.

After doing my V-Tune runs, creating new Mastertune files and uploading them to the bike over and over again, plus letting the TTS software choose my cam settings, is this why it feels like I have only made a little progress? Since doing my last 2 runs and uploading them I have to give the bike gas to get it started. After riding awhile and stopping it will start normally.
Mr Wizard, how can I get a copy of your instructions?
Thanks

So, since I have a 2010 Fat Boy I should use Lambda?

If given a choice? I vote for TTS. If somebody will be doing a dyno tune, I vote for the tuner they are most comfortable with, as long as it IS a flash tuner.
If someone will do self tuning their own bike... a DIY tuner.... if you wish for all the tune can be, and are WILLING to learn a bit... TTS, if one wants a near stock bike to run nice after a day (won't be the best it can be, maybe) I vote for the Power Vision.
It is my personal opinion that TTS can produce the best DIYer tuned bike. I DIYered my 120R, on the street, using TTS.
But... there IS a learning curve with anything to do with tuning. If one is willing to take the time to learn a bit, and see it through... thats the guy I recommend a TTS to.

Will have to assume a lot here..
I assume you made a special VTune calibration and flashed that before you did your VTune data runs?
Will assume your IVO and IVC are correct.
Will assume you don't have internal aftermarket modifications to the motor?
I assume you were able to fill in all the data blocks you could actually reach and on your last VTune run all the blocks with numbers in them are white with the exception of a yellow data ring?
You then worked with your EGR tables to get your blue dots as close to the red diagonal line as possible while VTuning?
You then, after working with your timing, preformed another VTune?
After your final VTune run you copied your Timing, VE and EGR tables to the TTS library calibration and flashed it into your bike?
You should never have to give your bike "Gas" when starting. Does it hard start or cough or just crank without kicking over? Are your VE tables at 750 RPM, far right top equal to your normal VE settings? This is where the bike is just before you start and go into idle. Where is your timing at the same area? Is it a warm start up issue or cold?
Copy of my instructions? Did I write a book about VTuning that I don't know about? You could probably go back through this thread and read everything I've typed and form a decent Q&A diary but I've never written anything down I would call instructions.
Favorite Tuner????? Me of course !
