I also forgot to tell you I have V&H pro pipe 2-1 I am also updatig to TTS2 do I need to update the HD06 ?

 

I saw the 2-1 in your picture since you didn't mention exhaust.

The HD06 is only for the CANBUS systems (Softail) It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and install/update it. You may find a buddy that needs your help down the road.

 

I didn't see that map in TTS only in TTS2 so the up date was a good thing ok now I have a starter map for when the engine is ready next week I thank you very much and I will be picking your brain in the coming months if you don't mine. Thank you Again Stan

New to the forum and new to TTS. I have a 2012 Street Glide and just purchased a full (Kuryaken) exhaust system, and a/c. My question is I have downloaded a map from Kuryaken site to match the set up but have not programmed ecm yet.
2010-2012 103 AC Power Cell Crusher Mellow Mufflers.MT7
Will I need to run V-tune to modify this map or will it be good enough to run with for now?

 

why not using an mt8 map???
i think u always need to run vtune on any new map..

Because I have read to many say that the mt8 files lock out the dealer from connecting. I have looked at both mt8 and mt7 and they are pretty much the same maps from what I can tell. Correct me if I am wrong. What is the benefit to running a mt8 over a mt7 file? Kuryaken said this was the map that I wanted to use for the setup that I am going with so I thought why not start from there. Like I said before new to the TTS.
