Cheers fella's..Thanks for the reply's...The reason I went with TTS is so I can learn to tune my bike myself,it is taking a little time but with help of a few forums and patience I am getting there...I'm a Plumber by trade so electronic gear is a bit daunting but I won't let it beat me...Also getting off an Evo to a newer bike takes some adjusting as the Evo was very user friendly...

Cheers...Sparra

I have a 2010 CVO Ultra that has the Fullsac stage 2 kit installed in it with the Andrews 54 cams, Steve sent me a map that is supposed to be close, I have already installed the map and the bike runs pretty good.

I want to use the V-Tune feature to dial my bike in, when I set up v-tune do I need to set all the cells to 0.981 and then load that into my bike before I run the v-tune or can I run the v-tune with the map that I already installed in the bike.

Do I need to run cam data prior to v-tune?

Thanks

use what Steve sent you. You want to change your cam tune settings prior to vtuning because those changes affect VE, AFR, and possibly the spark tables. If you vtune then change the cam selector, then you have to vtune again to compensate for the changes.

... or you can send me a site email. I'll give you a copy of my super secret dialed in .MT8 cal from my 2010 CVO SG with the same mods. That should cut down on your VTunes dial in or you can leave it alone and let the ECM adjust. It won't be far off. The cam selector should be the same.

For VTune info simply read the manual or click here for the older info with AFR. It's pretty much the same.

Wiz.. finally got around (been bouncing in and out of town) to ordering my TTS from Doc this morning. Did I ever tell you how much I really dislike this SEPST?

Thanks for the replies guys, man this is a little overwhelming, I have read more in the last couple of days than I have in a year or so probably. All these different softwares, Master Tune, V-Tune , Data Master get a little confusing as to which one should be run first and what step by step process should be used. This cam setup has me a little baffled, I am assuming you run the cam data record prior to running V-tune, but the instructions on page 102 say to perform the ICV test on a dyno?

I am probably over thinking this whole thing, I read in another thread a pretty good step by step on v-tune by 05train that I thought I had figured out till this cam setup came into play.

Thanks again

the cam selector tool is actually quite easy using the cam estimator tool to enter your open and close timings (16/42 for the 54H) and then hit transfer settings and leave it alone from there. You can truly only set the ICV on a dyno in a controlled environemnt.

It's just as easy to use v-tune to find the actual opening of the cam, and THEN insert that value.
