my essentially same set up as yours had supertrapp slipons instead had the ivo set at 5 and never even a bobble at idle as smooth as silk.

As suggested above, the IVO should probably be 5. Until you can properly load the motor to determine IVC, leave it at 3.

FWIW, I use the same map (DTA044-03) on my 2012. I have noticed that if I set the idle speed too low (closer to 900 then 1000) or have the VE's too high, the idle will suffer.

Good luck!

Just finished with the 3 V-tune runs with the new cam settings. I have idle set at 952 rpm. It appears the heat has came back up some. Bike running 255 degrees to 260 degrees on a 65 degree day. Idle is much smoother and no cough from breather when shut down. I have zipped the MT8 final file that was reset with accel, PE and nock re inabled, uploaded to my bike. I will ride it some tomorrow and see how it is acting. Thank you.

The bike will always run hot when VTuning. Once the VE's are pasted to a good calibration your bike will cool down again. It will also run like a bat out of hell.

The file looks very close to mine. Can you post your last vtune file? I'd like to compare it to a few of mine to see where the differences might be.

This blog won't let me upload these files.. saying exceeds 97 kb limit. I even tried RAR and got them to 112 kb but still can't insert. Is there another way of uploading them? Weather moved in so cut my 3rd run down some and didn't have time to do any more runs. I will try this setting for a while and maybe make some more runs later. I still have some throttle lag.. I am thinking about adjusting the Throttle Blade Control a little and see if this helps some. New to Mastertune so experomenting a little. Thanks for the help.

Just went for a little over 100 mile ride. Still not real happy with the tune. Accilleration hesitates when first cracking the throttle, Intake cough has came back durring shut down, Getting a decell pop every once in a while durring de cell. I am thinking timing might still be off a little. I would like to find someone with a dyno and try tuning on a dyno. I live in North west Oklahoma in Rural Woodward county. Is there someone in this area that has a dyno and is familiar with the TTS Mastertune. I still have about 18 days off before having to go back on duty overseas (Oilfield). Thank you all for your help.

Well guys i have been doing some tweaking. The bike seems to be running a lot better. And a lot more responsive. Just so i am not doing anything to hurt the bike. I am at a point i am going to leave it alone and ride it. Here is a zip copy of my last upload. Now i will see what kind of mileage it is getting and monitor the heat. THank you for all your help.
