4 months after my $400 "professional" tune and 12 re-calibrated maps since, my bike is still not right.

2011 RG 103 with TTS, Thunderheader 2:1 and LA choppers A/C

consistant decel popping at 3200-3400 rpms. I can get it to pop at higher rpms if i try, up to 4000.

whether i'm upshifting, downshifting and blipping, or staying in the same gear with constant throttle and then fully roll off throttle i get the POP sometimes POPS.

Ive been told by the tuner i have a leak somewhere, its typical of thunderheaders and long cams, a dyno tune doesnt prevent reversion and dilution of the intake charge, in some cases with certain exhausts it occurs without remedy, and i cant tune on the dyno for the bike on the street because theres no load on the brake.

I am about done dealing with this guy, i wanted to give him a fair shot at fixing this first, however, it appears the resident experts here may be more knowledgable and able to lead me to a fix.

Detail all your motor modifications for us. Detail your riding style and the area you usually ride (altitude and clean gas ability)

Detail exactly what is going on, when, where and what you were doing. Try to give us your throttle position and an idea of the load when any events are happening.

The next think I want you to do is examine the depth of your 02 sensors on that THeader.

Pull out the sensors, use a paperclip with a 45* angle bend. Insert the paperclip into the bung weldment and use sharpie to mark how deep/tall the weldment is. Then measure the sensor from the crush gasket to the end tip of the sensor. How much of the sensor actually is in the exhaust stream?

Stock 103 with the exception of Thunderheader 2:1, TTS and LA Chopper A/C

Riding style: Heavy on throttle, upshift above 3500rpm, cruise above 3000rpm, sea level. I can get the POP 99% of the time with or without load at 3200rpms. 0% throttle

This weekend will be tuning the stock 103 in the 12 Ultra Limited with VH HO pipe and Zippers AC, putting the 777 cams in this week. Any peculiarities I need to look out for while tuning this set up?
