I had a similar problem with recordings truncating at various times, just stopping for no reason. I downloaded and installed the latest USB/Serial converter driver V2.08.14 from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm, and it resolved my problem. I can record for an hour or more with no hiccups.

The first couple vtune attemps I hit start off the control box and the vtunes never finished. The last time I hit the start button on the histogram box and the vtune stayed running. Which is correct?
Both start buttons work the same. Use whichever one is convenient.

Only put the ones u want to v-tune to the 14.6 setting in the AFR table. So u could v-tune tour low rpm one tune and then when u r happy with the results just set your AFR table to somthing other than 14.6 and the v tune will ignore info in these cells.

Default proximus 7" monitor

The proximus does not have a screw hole in the back.
there is a round plastic washer with a clip for the stand and 4 very small phillips screws that hold it on. What i did was take a washer the same size as the plastic one and marked were the four holes were. Drilled them 1/8"
welded a 3/8 nut over the hole . Put a 3/8x 1 1/2 stud and jam nut.locked
it to the nut i welded on. Took old mirrior took the glass out and drilled 3/8
hole put the monitor on rubber washer then flat washer an lock nut.
works fine.

Just takes a little time..

Have an 07 lowrider stage 1 w/ Rinehart slipons.. Had TTS on for 2 seasons...vtuned 6 or 7 times and bike runs good. MPG could be a little better but I have CLB set on rich side.

Question- when bike is set up for vtune (14.6 across board) is it supposed to run like crap. Mine runs very hot....pops a lot. But once I reset to original and reload map, the bike runs great.

Also, can I run data collection without the map set up for vtune? Need to solve popping at 3500-4000 rpm and zero throttle.

Thanks
Brian

If it totally runs like crap while in v-tune mode... that can be an indication that the base cal isn't the best for the bike's configuration. I always recommend that one try 2-3 base cals and go with the one the idles the best, etc from the get go.

Yes, you can do simple data recording without going into v-tune mode. GREAT way to look for timing being pulled, etc.
