Smile New To TTS- Looking for suggestions

Folks...

Just got my TTS form Doc yesterday. I installed all the software and did all the updates, so I hope to start "playing" with it this weekend. I won't be able to do any runs with it until April, because as I look out my window right now all I see is snow. (GRRRRRRRRRRR)

My bike is:

2009 Street Glide, Stock EXCEPT for HD Heavy breather kit and Thunderheader slip-ons.

Anyways, I'm planning on backing up my current calibration and then downloading the following map: TD205-002.

As of right now all I'm really concerned with is keeping the heat down and getting decent fuel mileage as opposed to increased horsepower, so my questions are:

1) Is the map I mentioned above sufficient to give me what I'm looking for, or should I still do the runs with the Datamaster come springtime and V-Tune.

2) Is there a better file I should be looking at?

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

2067,

I'm sure that map is sufficient, but if you're up for it, I'd sure do the tuning runs. They are failrly easy, and even fun. They will help your bike run better.

That map is for the Drive By Wire touring models. The map you want is AE176-002.

Just checking in to see if there have been any updates to TTS since last Summer. I bought a TTS from Doc last June and tuned the bike. Its been running perfect ever since. Just wondering if there have been any software updates or new capabilities added. One thing I wanted was the ability to adjust what temp it went into skip mode. Since I ride in traffic and go into EITMS sometimes, I'd prefer it to skip sooner to reduce heat further.

Now I'm really screwed up.....I thought the 09 Touring models (including my Street Glide) were all "drive/throttle by wire". Can someone please clear this up for me????

Yours is throttle by wire and you picked the right map, the other poster was mistaken.

There have been a few updates to the software (and maos I think) since last summer but to my knowledge you can't adjust the EITMS other than on or off

Ha! I've been spending too much time in the Dyna forum. You typed Street Glide, I read Street Bob.

never mind.
