About a month ago I up graded to the brighter h.i.d bulb from harley.
On 06 heritage softail,on the way home from work last night when I went from low beam to high the fuse blew. Any thoughts would be help full
thanks I hate being in the dark.

 

is it an overwattage bulb, better fuse than wires, you did not get a HID bulb most likely, HID is a system, at least bulb and energizing hardware, they take big power to start and run at less power once fully energized, its best to get a kit, the reflector and all $$$$, candlepower.com has a fair priced upgrade headlight and bulb i got, you can safely use the motorcycle specific 70-65 osram bulb off road of course
