HELP ..... My T-MAx Bike wont start
Hey guys.
I replaced my battery today
Initialised (30 on 30 off etc) and Even tho the motor cranks over it wont fire up. Checked fuses - all good.
Tried plugging the unit into my gomputer but it wouldnt show up.
Anyone have any ideas before I call up The TMAX guys
Any help/ideas would be very much appreciated

Well, since the module controls fuel pump, it is either not getting power, or it's fried. Plug the stock ecm in and see if the pump works with it. If it won't, pull the main plug on the ecm, look it over really good for corrosion. Check the wiring in the fuse panel as well as the fuses (engine module control) and( ecm) fuses with ohm meter for continuity. Track the power wire for the ecm from the fuse panel to the ecm and check for continuity. Could even be the ignition switch. Check any wiring you may have touched during the battery change.
This list is somewhat out of order, but you got the idea. Remembe if you get things to work, you must go through the initialize again because it was dead before and it didn't have any effect.
