my uncle bought a v-rod from a insurance company that was wrecked.. he put the bike back together and it looks really good but he cant get it started it. it has a alarm system on it factory and the past owner put in a code and now that the bike has changed hands, he cant get it to start unless he has that code. he has no way of getting it so is there another way to get past the system or maybe reset a new code so he can get it running ...thanks for any help

 

Your uncle should contact a dealer with his proof of ownership. They will help him get past the security system.

 

well when he got the bike it didnt have the key or the key fob so he bought one at the dealer but it still wont start..will he have to reprogram the fob and module and is there a write up on how to do this..

The dealer will have to program the fob to work with the bike's security system. Even if they knew how, no responsible person would post how to defeat the HD security. While I'm sure you and your uncle are on the up and up, others might use the information for illegal purposes.
