Right-click on the Desktop and select Properties. Click the Screen Saver tab and in the drop-down select (None). Now, click the Power button. Ensure you choose not to have the hard disk turned off, and there should be an option to "do nothing" when the lid is closed. You may want to extend the "sleep" mode timeout as well as turning off "hibernate"

How do I "do a log"? The only way that I'm aware of is to use the Monitor function of the program. But in order to monitor the ecm don't you have to have the laptop connected to the module? Pretty tough for me to carry a laptop while running down the highway, can't put the laptop in the saddlebag because of the cable the lid would have to be left unlatched. I suppose I could try to strap it to the seat but that sounds kind of risky. Hmmm
If you don't want to do any monitoring just extend your cruise range to 30 TPS and up to 3500 RPM. That will definitely cover it and won't affect your performance when getting on it.

I had the same problem with poor mileage after I had the T-Max installed at Sturgis. Even after putting on over 2K miles. T-Max support requested that I download/install the latest version of the SmartLinkIV software. Under the Help menu, it as a "Prepare and send, Module data email". This will send all the module settings and offsets to Zippers support. I was getting 36-38mpg and a lot pinging. Support got back to me and requested I load a different base map and reset the learned offsets. Since I have been getting 45-48 and the bike runs much better.

Just curious rkbikeman, which map are you using? I'd like to take a look at it and compare it to mine.
