Default Installing air and oil guages?

Has anyone installed Harley guage set in standard FLHT, the air temp and oil pressure guages? Is the bike prewired from factory? Is it plug and play?
Thanks in advance to any that can help.

The air temp is plug and play, and by all accounts...USELESS.

Go with an oil temp and oil pressure, and I don't know if it is plug and play or not. I'll check my manual for you tomorrow.

perhaps you could install a wind sock also (more useful than an airtemp gauge)

FWIW, you can get a nice digital oil temp guage that replaces the cap on the oil tank. I was told they're pretty effective...

The oil temp dipstick LED things is kinda usless when rolling...a better bet is the regular analog oil temp guage...especially if you are on a bagger with dashboard.

We replaced the air temp gauge with oil temp on our Ultra. Also- moved the oil temp to same side as oil pressure. Dig. in tank is good if your stopped- nothing more.
