why or why not?

seems wasteful to have the 02 sensor in there blocking air flow (however minute)

and having the 02 sensor get covered in grime.

and having the unsightly 02 leads dangling around on the tranny cover.

and have the wires finally fall on the pipe and melt.


I was gonna pull my 02's
clean them with Carb cleaner & a tooth brush,

and put them in Lay Up.

and put a brass plug in there.
what shop would have a plug, NAPA?

recommendations?

 

I know v & hines exhaust come with plugs maybe give them a call

 

I just received o2 plugs that I bought through J and P. Cost about $10.

 

I'm gonna do the same thing, so thanks for the info.........About cleaning the 02 sensors, I've heard (don't know) that they are delicate and easily damaged. I would like to know if you can just clean them up and not hurt them.
