I just picked up a Sporty that has an Arlen Ness 5 3/4" headlight that has a problem. I need to get inside the thing to change the bulb and check the inside wiring. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do this. Can someone help me here? Thanks

 

After 2 days of trying, I finally figured it out. The inner ring unscrews with the help of 2 small screwdrivers in the holes.

My problem was that the ring was very corroded, and took way too much force to move it. I'll put a little grease on it before reinstalling.
