hay, im hopeing someone can help me with this. 2002 rkc rideing along minding my own, and she shuts down, lights off, engine off, nothing. shut swich off turn back on she fires up like nothing happend, happend couple of times, now afraid to go anywhere with her, so just fer snicks i took her to work (20 miles not to bad of a walk) she kept running this time but the lights are cutting on and off. just the lights not the speedo or anything else. oh by the way she has 55000 miles on her and she runs hard and strong, (when she runs). gotta figure this out, cant count on her to go anywhere anymore. please help her.

 

oh by the way the grounds have been checked, battery cable checked and the curcit breaker has already been changed.

 

I had a friend that has 2001 harley and his done the same thing. It took us a few hours to track it down and it was a loose wire on the curcit breaker near the rear fender. The wire would heat up due to being loose and kick the breaker. The breaker will get very very hot then kick.
