I too, am debating between the battery powered and rechargeable pagers.

I've heard that the batteries only last 4-6 weeks in the non-rechargeable version.

How long will the rechargeable pager hold a charge?

Which is smaller?

Does one have any cool features that the other does not?

if you remember to turn it off when you don't need it. I used mine this past summer for a 8 day road trip and had it one every night for at least 9 hrs a night and the battery is still good. Sure they can eat up batteries but they're easily available and changeable, whereas the rechargeable is much more difficult to replace if it fails. Both work very well but it all depends on how good a memory you have for turning them off.
