Default Stage 1 With V&H Slip-on Do I need to map?

I just installed V&H Straight Shots slip-on HS. Also put quiet baffles in. Do I need to upgrade the air filter to stage 1 and remap EFI system? One of the mechanics at the dealer said no. Locker room mechanics say yes. Bike runs and sounds really good as is. Will it hurt my engine by not remapping? Howard

No, you don't need to remap. If you put a high flow ac on as well then you would need to remap.
