Well took my battery to the Harley Dealer and the machine printed out that the battery was good and was accepting a charge. I put it on a recharger and back intothe bike and it started right up. At least that should narrow the quest down to either the stater or the voltage regulator. I think that the only thing that I can do is put a voltage meter on each and see if the output is correct? Any thoughts or short cuts that you can provide? What should the outputs be? Thanks HELP!

 

In the DIY forum, there are two stickys explaining how to test the stator/charging system.

They are basically identical to what's in the HD Electrical Diagnostic Manual.
