Warm Idle Adjustment Delphi EFI?

Warm Idle Adjustment Delphi EFI?
I have the Delphi EFI on on my 2001 Road King. SE A/C, Rinehart 2 into 1 with a PCIII. The warm idle is at 550-650 RPMs. I have spoken with Jamie at feulmoto, he was a great help, adjusting the map and setting the initial throttle position. The bike runs great at operating RPMs however at warm idle she is way too low. I have done a search here and found nothing helpful. Does anyone know how to adjust up the warm idle? I have had the whole intake off looking for an adjustment screw and found nothing.

There is no IAC or stepper motor on a M&M system. Bring the bike up to operating temperature and open the blades to get the idle to 950-1050. There is a little hole in the back plate at 4 or 5 o"clock. Put a #10 Torq in there and adjust the idle. The bike needs to be at 230-250F before you do this adjustment. After you get the idle at 950-1050 ( I like 1050)and it is stable, turn the bike off and disconnect the positive battery terminal for 5-10 minutes. Re-connect the battery cable and start the bike. If it starts and revs up to 1300-1500rpm then you should be good to go. If it does not do this then the cold idle adjustment needs to be adjusted as well.
Doing this adjustment will move the TPS voltage setting which will change the position in the M&M ECU for running. Another way to look at it it will offset the fuel curve and have a new starting point. You will need to reset your PCIII to zero after adjusting the idle. The PCIII may have to be re-mappped to the new TPS settings.

How about the Delphi EFI?
Sometimes, when I fire the bike up, it will run waaay up to 2000 rpm, and then it takes a few minutes before it will come back down. Usually it does this when I fire the bike up for the first time of the day when it is "cold" (even though the air temp is 85 degrees). However, it will do it when the bike is warmed up.

The Delphi is different and is adjustable with progamming the ECU. The IAC table and Idle table are all software driven. These in conjunction with the actual stepper counts when the bike is warm controls all of this. Unless you have the capability to read live data and can use Direct Link or SERT or Mastertune to flash the ecu with changes there is not much you can do except take it to a tuner and let them adjust it. Being a 2004 bike I bet the Throttle plates need to be adjusted as well as the IAC hole and lead screw need to be cleaned. There is another current thread on how to do the clean. Your PC can do nothing to fix this issue.

You mean this thread??? https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showp...98&postcount=4
I read that, and I would probably do it the right way... remove the TB from the intake, pull the sensors and do a thorough cleaning. This is what I refer to "Throttle Body Maintenance" on a car.
I kinda figured I would ask the question, since the thread is titled "Warm Idle Adjustment DELPHI EFI"
