Default Turn signals don't work

2005 RK Classic, put new bars on and didn't cover wires properly when pulling through (internal wiring). At first none of these worked: cruise, blinkers, horn but bike would turn on and start. Played around with wires (lefthand side of bars) for awhile and got everything working. Put everything back together (nacelle, headlight, covers, etc.) and now everything comes on and works EXCEPT turn signals. Did a continuity check on all the wires and everything checked out OK. Dried all the silicone spray from male/female connectors, still no signals.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a separate fuse just for the turn signals somewhere besides the fuse box? All the fuses in the box are fine. Another thing, the security lamp light stays on now, still no blinkers.

If you are running one of those run turn brake light controllers, unplug it, and reconnect them to the way they were from the factory, check for a TSSM code, see if you can identify it, then clear the code, and see if it works. My load equalizer fried on my light controller, and threw a code as a short, and the turn signals would not work. I did the above and identified the problem.

Thanks White Knight, I'll give the flasher a try. Since everything works except the turn signals I replaced the switch that I believe is giving me all the trouble (left turn), but still no signals. By the way your bike is sweet and so is your signature video loop however it is a bit of a distraction as I try to read your comments :-)

Thanks jeff194, I think I know what you're talking about and will give it a try.
