tach should have come with install instructions. \\; If you do not have the installation sheets, any dealer should be able to copy them for you and / or email them to you in a PDF file. \\; I have put tach's on 03 FXD and 06 883L, and have found the service manual wiring diagrams to be very helpful because the instruction sheets that come with the tach's are not always written too clearly.

If this link gets garbled, try googling 68953-04. This is Harley Hog's website over in the UK...it came up at the top of the list when I googled the part number.
