intermittent power / no power - '96 flstc
I've just read through 4 months worth of posts trying to find my problem to no avail, and now I'm getting dizzy... apologies if this issue has already been addressed...
I have a '96 FLSTC that's been running great all summer. Today, I changed all the fluids, oil filter and spark plugs. Afterwards, it started right up, but after 30 seconds I shut it off to take a phone call. When I hit the start switch again, I heard a click and the power went dead before it could even turn over. I poked around the battery (still fully charged) and breakers, nothing seemed out of order. After about 10 minutes, I switched on the ignition and everything lit up and it started right up. I let it idle for a couple of minutes, then I switched it off then tried to start it again, but the same thing happened: click, no power, and it hasn't come back.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated!
Thanks,
Michael
