Default to dino or not

hey there
&nbsp\\;i have a 03 rking with stage 1 and sampson rolled thunder mufflers, i also have a fuel pak,i am not sure if the bike already had a stage 1 download or not so i am flipping between 2 recommended settings on the fuel pak by vance and hines,
the bike runs good except in first and second gear going slow ,not smooth at all at lower speeds it seems jerky
also if i set at the values that the bike runs the best the motor is more noisy
i am thinking i may be better to have dino tuned however i am in knoxville tn and do not trust the dealers out here at all
any input will be appreciated

The FuelPak provides very limited tuning, you'd be better of going with a PCIII with either a canned map or custom map for your scoot.

PCIII's cost $279 from Fuel Moto, canned maps are free, or independent dyno tune will likely be around $200.

Don't go to a HD dealer unless you want to buy a SERT ($600) and pay 3-4 hours of dyno time ($300-400).

A PCIII is a piggy back device much like the Fuel Pak.Except it allows a much finer adjustment.SERT stands for Screaming Eagle Race Tuner. It has the greatest degree of tuning an engine. It is very complicated and not recommended for the faint of heart.Usually a technician will charge upwards of three hundred dollars to dyno tune the bike.

You can dyno tune with the PCIII.You can dyno tune with the Fuel Pak.You will have a greater degree of tuning with the PCIII.
