recently pickedup tuner for 08 FLHX. my cpu's do nothave the 9 pin serial so i had to pick up a usb 9 pin converter cable.&nbsp\\; im getting an error message saying no aldl connection. i spoke to reno hd and was told on 2 occasions that they didntknow and i should bring my bike in for their dyno service.&nbsp\\; i spoke with a tech at another establishment that said he has seen this prob when not using hd cables.&nbsp\\; has anybody seen or heard of this.

Search this forum for aldl.&nbsp\\; There are a lot of discussions on the subject.&nbsp\\; Most common problem is the USB to 9-pin adapter.

 

The Belkin adapter is the adapter of choice connecting the SERT. The most current driver for the adapter will have to be downloaded and installed in Windows XP. Using the Belkin adapter with Windows Vista is hit or miss.
